Narrative - The Infected

I am proud of my work because it tells you where it was set and it describes what the new kid and the teacher looks like. I found it easy because I had a story map but next time I need to do my story map on my own

This is my story map about The Infected its when this new kid goes into Room 20 and he coughs a lot and spreads a disease and only four friends survived the cough so they had to cure this disease by going to the sick bay and getting the antidote .  And then they saved the day!

I need to improve on retelling the sentences because it was hard to do the sentences.  next time I should be able to do a harder one and faster.

fractions and decimals

I am proud of my work because I have done it correct.  This work was easy for me because I have done it before.  Next time I could do harder fraction like double digits.

This is my maths work that I have done on the iPad.  I had to multiply numbers to get my answer.  I found this easy.  Next time I need to use double digits.

WALT draft a speech using an online graphic organiser.

The most challenging thing was when I had to think of the speech without writing it.
I think next time I could think of my speech faster and finish on time with other people.
This speech was easy and hard at the same time.

ANZAC Reading

 We read lots of books and articles about war.  We listened to someone who was in the war.

We wanted to share the information and new information that we have learned from our readings and our findings with our peers.

WALT present our information about Social Conflict.

The most challenging thing for me was thinking what to write on the letters and what to make people think that the letters came strait from the war.

Maths Subtracting

We are learning to use subtraction strategies.
It was hard when I had to take away hundreds from thousands because the numbers were high and harder.  Next time I will use a calculator or a number line

I know I will be successful when:

• I am able to instantly subtraction facts.
• I am able to instantly recall division facts.

I got a lot better at my basic facts because I have learned my subtraction, multiplication and division

The best part of this was when  I had to draw Lucy the cow on kid pix.  I enjoyed listening to the story because it was telling all of the people that were in the story

I found this hard because the author did not make me feel, think or see.next time I will know how to this work because I would already know how to because I would look and read the success criteria.
